Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas and raised in the state. She was a television host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She was a lot of her childhood caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from polio. When she was growing up, there were many arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She was selected as the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. She began her TV job in the year 1992, having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! In the past, she has been host of The Talk since 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
