Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban-American television arbitrator who is featured on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana Polo Gonzalez was raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami when she was two. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. She is currently the host of the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is a Spanish programming on television which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was also named the top Spanish-language show at 4pm, for important demonstrations. Polo was born on the 11th of April, 1959, in Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she received a degree in political science. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. After that, she received her PhD in law from The University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in Miami. Polo made her debut appearance for the very first time on Telemundo Sala de Parejas in 2001. Some other shows on the court also featured her expert legal advice. Literature Accolades She published Los Hijos Muertos in 1958. The novel was awarded the Critic's Prize and The Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain in 1960 to go to an adventure in the United States in 1960. Polo who is diagnosed with breast cancer and cancer survivor, speaks often about the cause she is fighting. Polo has been an advocate for LGBT issues. She received her law degree at her University of Miami School of Law in 1987, and is an attorney in the Florida Bar.
